John was born in St. Louis, but was raised and educated in the Kansas City area. He entered his family's food brokerage business in 1962 and became President of Walden & Sons Food Brokers, Inc. in 1974 following the death of his father. The business was sold to a national organization in 2003 and rather than retire, he followed his passion of home building, to form TLConcepts, LLC. |
